Hallo everybody!

A travelling student

This is my first post of many more to come, but not as frequent as one might expect, since now I’m back here in Italy to meet my friend Karl, after a very long time. We will be moving around a lot, sightseeing and recalling the times we spent together when we were students of a very special kind. We never attended regular university courses, only specific lessons that we thought might give us something, at various universities here in Italy, before Karl returned to Germany to complete his studies there and I went back to the States … But that’s another chapter! Anyway, it was a great time and we felt we were some kind of very special “wandering scholars”, not exactly “clerici vagantes”, but certainly more like Medieval learning pilgrims than regular students of the late 20th century.
